6th
annual BBQ/Bluegrass Festival(2010)

The 6th annual BBQ/Bluegrass Festival will take place August 19, 20th
and 21st, 2010 in Worland, WY. (Mark your Calendar!). We are the Wyoming State
BBQ Championship sanctioned KCBS. Each year 30+ BBQ cookers come to
compete for prizes totaling over $6000.00. Each participant spends
countless hours preparing and cooking their favorite recipes for Beef
Brisket, Pulled Pork, Ribs, and Chicken. Our extra categories include
Lamb and Sauce. For more information on the BBQ competition click on the

The festival gets under way on Thursday August 19th (Judging Class) -
then Fri., Aug. 20th at 4:00 p.m. ending at
10:30 p.m. Saturday, August 21st. Festivities run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.. Click

The Kansas City Barbeque Society is proud to announce the upcoming
launch of The 2010 Great American BBQ Tour, a cross-country tour of some
of the nation's top BBQ and food festivals.
This tour, which will be on display at 25 premiere events and also make
numerous stops at retail locations across the U.S., will show how
backyard grillers can take tips from the BBQ pros of the KCBS and apply
them to their outdoor cooking at home.
The tour will also demonstrate the products that go great in and with
world-class BBQ, including TABASCO brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce, Weber
Grill Creations and SCOTT Shop Towels. The demo will even include the
perfect solution, TUMS, for when you over indulge in our world-famous
BBQ.
Stop by the Great American BBQ Tour display, and you will not only learn
tips from the pros, but you can sample BBQ from our expert chefs and
walk away with great recipes and tips to use at home.

The Festival
Worland is located in the middle of the beautiful Big Horn Basin ½ way
between Casper, WY and Billings, MT. on HWY 789. The friendliest little
town with a big heart invites you to attend our festival for FREE! Taste
mouthwatering BBQ and listen to fabulous Bluegrass musicians. Bring the
family and enjoy a tasty BBQ meal, visit with friends, make new ones,
and wander around the other exhibits.
The
Festival is held at the Washakie County Fairgrounds on a grassy field,
surrounded by shade trees. Enjoy the taste of mouth watering food from
world-class chefs, and of course enjoy the music!

Admission is FREE!
(Bone Bucks are Optional)
When you enter the
festival, your first stop should be at one of our two banks, to exchange
cash for bone bucks. Use these Bone Bucks for purchases of Food,
Beverages, T-Shirts, Mugs, and other items from festival vendors.
Vendors will only accept Bone Bucks.
Special Note: Last years mugs
are welcome to bring back and be refilled at the refill cost.
Unused Bone Bucks: Bone Bucks that are not used are surely not
wasted; just either return them to the bank for a full refund or come
back next year and spend them next year.
