Tribute to Jim Blake (1952 to 2008)
 

Oh how we miss our friend and mentor Jim Blake, owner of JD's BBQ, past president of the Pepsi Wyoming State BBQ Competition and Bluegrass Festival, community volunteer, manager at Pepsi, church leader - and just all around good guy.  Jim passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 18, 2008.  Among those he leaves behind are his wife, two daughters, and many, many friends and loved ones.

There were at least 650 people who attended Jim's memorial service.  Out of the Worland's 5,500 or so population, that is an amazing showing.  No one could say for sure if there is BBQ in heaven, but if there is, we know Jim is in the midst of it.  We sure do miss you Jim!
